Edupro’s Back-2-back Seminar

Last 26th of June, Edupro conducted the Cybersecurity Awareness Seminar, and discussed the types of attack, latest security defenses, solutions, and best practices. IT professional from various industries attended the seminar. 

Our In-house Technical Trainer Specialist, Niko H. Serrano, did a demonstration on samples of security attack, such as Phishing and Backdoor. 

Representatives from our industry partners graced our event. Jonas De Leon, Systems Engineer of Glo-cal Advanced Systems, Inc. discussed how to protect data against cyber-attacks. Glo-cal is an IT service, software and technology company and a Symantec Partner. 

Hermes Villaflor II, Premiere Field Engineer of Microsoft Philippines, shared his ideas on how to create a safer world that enables organizations to digitally transform, including privacy, control and having control over your data.

Another seminar was held last July 3 entitled Microsoft Office 2019 and O365 applications, which was attended by business and IT professionals.

Edupro’s IT Supervisor, Charles Louis Lumibao did a tips and tricks demonstration on some of the new features in Microsoft Office 2019.

Mark Joseph Lagan, Microsoft Consultant for Business Applications from Nexus Technologies showed how you can utilize Microsoft O365: PowerApps and Flow and be more productive.

Jonathan S. Samar, Operation Supervisor of IT Works Inc., talked about the Value of Certification and the available exams for non-technical Professionals. He also highlighted the MOS and MTA exam program that is now available in Edupro.

Both events started with a brief introduction of Edupro’s services, by our Training Sales Associates, Krizell Maniquis, explaining one of the current challenges that any business is currently facing—skills gap. Mary Anne Evangelista evangelized how Edupro can help businesses can bridge the growing gap through authorized training and certification.
The four-hour session also included an open forum discussion with the audience, awareness of the different available training solutions, certification exam promos and special awards.
